Frequently Asked Questions

The Taj Mahal is stunning year-round, but the best weather is from October to March when temperatures are pleasant (10-25°C). Sunrise visits are particularly magical, offering beautiful light and fewer crowds. Summer months (April-June) can be extremely hot, while monsoon season (July-September) brings lush greenery but occasional rain.

Photography is permitted in most areas of the Taj Mahal complex, but not inside the main mausoleum (the inner chamber where the tombs are located). Tripods require special permission. There's a small camera fee (included in your tour) for professional equipment. Our guides know all the best photo spots and will help you capture amazing shots.

Modest clothing is recommended when visiting all monuments in Agra. For women, shoulders and knees should be covered. Comfortable walking shoes are essential as you'll be on your feet for extended periods. In summer, light cotton clothing, hats and sunscreen are recommended, while in winter, layers work best as mornings can be chilly but afternoons warm up.

Yes! The Taj Mahal is open for nighttime viewing on full moon nights plus two days before and after (5 nights total each month). These visits require special tickets (limited to 400 people per night) which we can arrange with advance notice. The marble glows ethereally under moonlight - a truly unforgettable experience.

This tour involves moderate physical activity. You'll walk about 3-5 km per day on mostly flat but sometimes uneven surfaces. The Taj Mahal complex requires removing shoes (socks allowed) when entering the main mausoleum. We can adjust pacing for those with mobility concerns - please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
