Canada offers different experiences throughout the year:

• Summer (June-August): Best for most tours with pleasant weather and all attractions open. Peak season with more crowds.
• Fall (September-October): Beautiful autumn foliage, especially in eastern Canada. Fewer crowds and mild temperatures.
• Winter (November-March): Ideal for winter sports and northern lights viewing. Some attractions may be closed.
• Spring (April-May): Shoulder season with fewer tourists, though some areas may still have snow.

Our most popular time is June to September when all roads and attractions in the Rockies are accessible.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality:

• Visa-exempt countries: Citizens of the US, UK, EU, Australia, Japan and several other countries don't need a visa for stays up to 6 months but require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if arriving by air.
• Visa-required countries: Travelers from many Asian, African and South American countries need to apply for a visitor visa.

We recommend checking with the official Canadian government website for the most current requirements. While we can't process visas for you, we're happy to provide invitation letters to support your application.

Our standard Canada tour is rated as moderate in terms of physical activity. Here's what to expect:

• Walking 2-5 miles per day on mostly flat terrain
• Some optional hikes in national parks (easy to moderate difficulty)
• Stairs at some attractions like CN Tower
• Ability to get on/off coaches and trains without assistance

We can customize the itinerary for travelers with mobility concerns. Please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements. For those seeking more adventure, we can add activities like hiking, kayaking or skiing depending on the season.

Packing depends on the season, but here are essential items for our summer tours:

• Clothing: Layered clothing (temperatures vary), waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunglasses
• Essentials: Passport, travel documents, credit cards, some Canadian cash, universal adapter
• Electronics: Camera, phone, chargers, power bank
• Outdoor gear: Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, small backpack for day trips
• Optional: Binoculars for wildlife viewing, swimsuit for hotel pools/hot springs

For winter tours, you'll need warm winter gear including thermal layers, insulated waterproof boots, gloves, scarf and heavy coat. We'll send a detailed packing list after booking.
